Who to contact when you need extra support

If someone is in immediate danger

If there is an immediate risk to life, serious injury, or someone is not safe:

Call 999 immediately.

This includes situations where someone may seriously harm themselves or someone else, has taken an overdose, is missing and at risk, or needs urgent medical attention.

For urgent mental health help that is not immediately life-threatening, the NHS advises using urgent mental health support routes, including NHS 111 where appropriate.
