Counselling fees
Clear, transparent fees for counselling with Enestee
At Enestee, we believe counselling fees should be clear, fair and easy to understand.
Our counselling model is built around local, face-to-face support wherever appropriate, a clear Discovery process, and access to experienced, professionally trained local counsellors. We are not a trainee-led or high-volume counselling service.
Before counselling begins, our Discovery process helps us understand what has brought you to Enestee and recommend suitable support.

What your fee includes
Your counselling fee covers more than the time spent in the counselling room.
It helps support:
-
a private, confidential counselling space
-
professional preparation and administration
-
ethical and safe practice
-
access to experienced, professionally trained counsellors
-
thoughtful matching through Enestee’s Discovery process
-
secure message check-ins where included or agreed
-
ongoing professional standards and practice oversight
-
local face-to-face counselling provision wherever appropriate
Our aim is to provide counselling that feels professional, grounded and meaningful — not rushed, impersonal or difficult to access.
50-minute counselling sessions
Our standard counselling sessions last 50 minutes and can take place in person, online or by telephone, depending on suitability and availability.
The fee is £70 per session.
This includes secure message check-ins, giving clients a safe and appropriate way to maintain contact between sessions where this has been agreed.
30-minute short sessions
Shorter 30-minute sessions are limited to video or telephone.
The fee is £45 per session.
These may be useful where a shorter check-in, focused conversation or more contained piece of support is appropriate.
Block bookings
Some clients prefer the structure of booking a block of sessions in advance.
Where block bookings are available, a 10% discount applies.
This can provide a clearer sense of commitment and continuity, while still keeping counselling focused on your needs.
Rewind Trauma Therapy
Specialist Rewind Trauma Therapy for PTSD, CPSTD, other persistent obtrusive memories and trauma linked phobias, is available as a full programme.
The fee is £190 for the full programme. (Suitability, initial therapy session, follow-up/2nd therapy session, 3 month review.)
Rewind Therapy may be suitable for some people affected by PTSD, trauma, phobias or distressing memories. Suitability is considered through Enestee’s
Discovery process before this route is recommended.
Corporate-funded sessions
Some counselling sessions may be funded by an employer where the organisation works with Enestee.
Corporate-funded sessions are agreed separately with the employer, with clear arrangements around confidentiality, boundaries, payment and what information is or is not shared.
Employees remain entitled to privacy and ethical support.
Lower-cost rates
Enestee offers lower-cost rates in some circumstances.
A lower-cost rate of £45 is available for:
-
unemployed clients
-
men’s group attendees, such as Andy’s Man Club attendees
Lower-cost availability will depend on capacity and suitability, and can be discussed during enquiry or Discovery.
Honest, Transparent & Local

Why fees are agreed clearly
We want clients to feel informed before counselling begins.
Fees will be explained before you start sessions, including how payment works, when payment is due and what happens if a session needs to be rearranged.
There should be no hidden extras or unclear commitments. Counselling should begin with clarity.

Discovery before counselling begins
At Enestee, counselling usually starts with our Discovery process.
This helps us understand:
-
what has brought you to counselling
-
what kind of support may be most suitable
-
whether face-to-face, online or telephone support may be appropriate
-
any practical needs, preferences or safety considerations
-
which counsellor may be a suitable fit
Where counselling with Enestee appears suitable, we recommend support from our trusted team of experienced, professionally trained local counsellors.

Experienced local counsellors
Enestee works with experienced, professionally trained local counsellors.
Our model is not trainee-led.
We are building a trusted team of counsellors who are local to the communities we support and able to offer grounded, ethical and thoughtful support.
This means our fees reflect a professionally led counselling practice, not a high-volume or low-cost trainee placement model.

Payment and cancellations
Payment
Payment is usually made before or at the time of each session. We will confirm payment details before counselling begins.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please give as much notice as possible.
Cancellation terms will be confirmed before counselling begins.

Workplace wellbeing and organisational support
Workplace wellbeing, training, consultancy and organisational support are priced separately depending on the nature of the work required.
This may include:
-
workplace wellbeing consultancy
-
staff support pathways
-
training or workshops
-
psychoeducation resources
-
manager guidance
-
community or partnership work
-
corporate-funded counselling arrangements
If your organisation would like to discuss workplace support, please contact Enestee so we can understand what you need and provide an appropriate proposal.
