PRESS RELEASE: Enestee expands counselling and wellbeing practice and announces wellbeing partnership with Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club

June 2026 - For immediate release

Enestee, the Holywell-based counselling and mental wellbeing consultancy, has announced the next stage of its growth, including expanded counselling space and a new wellbeing partnership with Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club.

The expansion marks an important development for Enestee as it continues to build a safe, professional and human approach to mental wellbeing support across North East Wales. The practice, founded and led by Nigel Skinner MSc is now supported by Steph Parsley MSc who joins as a counsellor and Clinical Practice Partner. Consequently Enestee is moving into a larger suite of offices within its existing building, creating additional counselling capacity and allowing the practice to work more closely with carefully selected local counsellors as demand grows.

Enestee provides counselling and mental wellbeing support for individuals, organisations and community partners. Its approach focuses on accessible, ethical and locally grounded support, helping people find the right counselling provision without needing to know in advance which therapist or approach may be most suitable.

As part of this next stage, Enestee has also confirmed a wellbeing partnership with Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting mental wellbeing within sport and the wider local community.

Nigel Skinner said:

“Enestee has always been about providing support that feels safe, professional and human. This expansion allows us to offer more availability while protecting the personal, ethical and carefully considered approach that matters so much to us. Our partnership with Deeside Dragons is also a very positive step. Sport plays a huge role in local communities, and we are proud to support a club that understands the importance of wellbeing both on and off the ice.”

Steph Parsley said:

“This is an exciting stage in the development of Enestee. We want people to feel that counselling is approachable, thoughtful and properly matched to their needs. Growing the practice gives us the opportunity to support more people while staying rooted in the values of safety, professionalism and genuine human connection.”

Jake Witkowski Marketing Director and Player Coach for Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club said:

“We are pleased to be working in partnership with Enestee and welcome their commitment to supporting mental wellbeing within our 200+ youth and senior team membership community. Ice hockey is a demanding sport, and wellbeing is an important part of helping people feel supported, connected and able to thrive.”

The partnership will help raise awareness of mental wellbeing and create opportunities for meaningful support, education and signposting within the club environment.

Enestee’s expansion and community partnerships form part of its wider vision to become the defacto trusted local provider of counselling and wellbeing support across North East Wales, working with individuals, local organisations, businesses and community groups.
